A man from Puebla, Ángel Rodríguez Morales, was detained for allegedly killing his parents and seriously injuring his 13-year-old brother in a domestic violence case in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla. A fisicoculturist from Puebla, Ángel Rodríguez Morales, was detained after being accused of participating in the murder of his parents and seriously injuring his 13-year-old brother in a house in the Fuentes de San Pedro neighborhood, in the Santiago Momoxpan auxiliary council, municipality of San Pedro Cholula, Puebla. The Puebla State Attorney's Office is already investigating the case to clarify how the events occurred. The Cholula City Security Secretariat reported that the police deployment began after receiving a report about a man with an aggressive attitude. Upon arriving at the residence, elements of the Municipal Police found three family members with various injuries, and they immediately requested the support of paramedics from Protección Civil. The emergency services confirmed that a man and a woman, both adults, had died at the scene. Meanwhile, the 13-year-old boy was stabilized and taken to a hospital urgently, where he remains under medical attention due to the severity of his injuries. According to neighbors of the neighborhood, during the early morning, they heard screams and a strong argument inside the house, which led them to call 911 to request help. Minutes later, according to the first reports, the alleged perpetrator also contacted the emergency number and claimed to be experiencing a supposed mental health crisis and that he had taken the life of one person. When the police entered the house, they found the suspect with erratic behavior. Additionally, they found different rooms with bloodstains and the three victims with injuries caused by blows. After controlling the situation, the agents detained Ángel Rodríguez Morales, who was later placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office. The Puebla State Attorney's Office conducted the autopsy, processed the crime scene and initiated the investigations to determine the circumstances of the events and the probable responsibility of the detained. The authorities also seek to establish the motive of the aggression. As part of the investigations, sources consulted pointed out that one of the lines of investigation points to the fact that the alleged perpetrator was facing problems with illicit substances and had abandoned a rehabilitation center just two weeks before the aggression. Similarly, the authorities are reviewing the background of intrafamily violence, as they suspect that the alleged perpetrator had physically abused family members since months ago.
